Overall Run Falls Hike

This is a view from near the top with the falls (pictured below) off to the left. The hike was close to the bottom shown above with a 1300 ft elevation gain that was backloaded as shown below
This is a view of the falls which represented a nice reward for headed uphill for a while.

I took a few months off from hiking after spending 2 months of consistent hiking effort while stationed in Luray. I has a tick bite that set me back for nearly 2 weeks due to body aches and fatigue so this effort was an attempt to get back in action. It was tough sledding out on the trail for my ancient bones but I did it though I was sore for a couple of days.

    Dude, please get treated for lyme disease if you have not already. It’s a real drag on life if let go too long.
